I never have messed with poly stuff. Don't want durability issues. I have all billet ones to finish. The cast are easy but forged are better and billet are best IMO. I just want legit milling stuff instead of just drills and jigs. Just want the cleanest
Possible stuff. Drill press works well. I just like tinkering and projects. That's why trucks and bikes and cars are never finished

As for 1911, Springfield is the best way to go. My go-to is a TRP full rail operator. I LOVE that gun. I plan on being buried with it, or if I ever have kids pass it down as an heirloom

Stop abusing your phones and throw a box of crayons when you get pissed. It looks funnier, and is less expensive.

i usually tell people like you to build a little .22 out of it.. throw it in the safe and just have it for worse case scenario.. i think its truly the best gun to have in a survival situation.. i have a Mp15-22 and a 10-22.. one stays at home and the other at my shop

    Except north las vegas:

    9.32.080 - Deadly weapon prohibited in vehicle—Exceptions.
It is unlawful for any person to have in his possession in any automobile, truck, motorcycle, or any other type of vehicle any dangerous or deadly weapon, but this restriction shall not be deemed to prohibit the carrying of ordinary tools or equipment carried in good faith for uses of honest work, trade or business, or for the purpose of legitimate sport or recreation.

    (Ord. 596 § 1, 1978: prior code § 7.22.070)
However, those with a CCW are exempt. But you shouldn't be in NLV anyway.

I'm not sure if this was in Ca, but I no I don't always follow every law all the time. I'm sure there's more to the story but I don't like the guy so I try not to talk to him much. He's and old grumpy ass hole.

And all you with ccw's is just a conformation that there is lots of folks on the road with a loaded weapon. I personally don't carry loaded and my guns aren't really for self defense, just sport. I would love to get my ccw .

welcome... granted i still work with almost every shop in Sacramento almost.. my most annoying thing about shops here is not ever one knows there stuff or you get different answers every time.. cool thing with rob... is you get him every time rain or shine... and almost guarantee if he does not he will have it in 5 minutes because he has a bunch of vendors like me.. I am really irradiated that Bass Pro or what ever is going up in Roseville.. put people like him out of business

    Haha

Yea that sucks, a lot of the time the better customer service is worth the extra 5$ Or 10$.. Would definitely rather give a local my buisness than some commercial giant. Thanks again.

It does not need to be in the open, just not concealed on your person. Glove box, center console, etc are all fine, loaded all fine and dandy as well (except Vegas as was previously stated. California laws have migrated to Vegas).

Your best bet is to just get an out of state CCW. Nevada will allow you (a California resident) to get an out of state Nevada CCW, which is recognized in 22 other states. I had mine before I even moved to Nevada.

    Edit: Helpful info
