Hey Gage does your frame fall into the limited campaign? They just opened it up to trucks registered in southern states so mine falls in to the campaign now and was wondering if you have gotten the inspection done

 

Is there a frame recall on 2nd gens?

 

Nope, and pretty sure it's only 05-08 or something like that.

 

What year is baby taco? And you are correct it is from 05-08s and it is a limited service campaign to inspect how bad rust is. Some people are getting frames

 

2011 haha. And yeah, I know a few 2nd gens have holes. I am not to worried. I haven't seen anything on mine yet. I don't drive a whole lot and we don't get much salt on the roads here. You being from Florida I would for sure get it checked out.

 

Yeah I've got some pretty rusty lower arms and some spots on the front boxed part. I was planning an oil change before heading home this summer so I'll have them check it while it's there

 

Yea being in Kansas and wyomingmost its life. It'll be fine.

Lol the truck spent pretty much no time in kansas. The other owner put 50 miles on it. I got it in spring and moved a few months later to wyoming.

Then it's probably fine. Wyoming isn't known for rusting vehicles out. The old toyotas did but took forever and was typical in the rear fenders.

Frank has 0 rust issues anywhere on him.

I am not worried. Laramie doesn't use much salt, if any. I think they did it once this winter.
