You're not the only one.... I dealt with this attitude awhile ago. I can't blame him for being frustrated with the BS that PopnLock gives him, and then us 'badgering' him, but STILL.

Daniel, do your job buddy, you have alot of money from us, and regardless of wether PopNLock is doing a good job... you need to do a good job. Keep us updated, even if this means feeding us the same line everday.

He could post here that he had the flu. But, left all of us hanging here!

I think 4 weeks is enough time. Doesn't matter what the excuse is at this point.

Ya, I'm still waiting for updates on the 8520s. I'm tempted to pull out, but I'm sure it will be tough to get one somewhere else. I agree that communication is key.

Lesson learned: don't be so greedy for the lowest price when about 200 people are in a group buy. Gets messy.

He PM'd me on 9/29 to confirm my shipping address. I figured it would only be a few days after I responded to his question.

    2 weeks later and...nothing.

So just how long are we all willing to sit here waiting while Daniel holds on to our property? I'd like to know how many p&l units he has in his possession that rightfully belong to others.

At the very least, I think this jeopardizes all future group buys. Group buys cannot have any trust issues, otherwise they don't work.

This is one reason why many sites do not allow Group Buys. There is too much liability for the website.

It would be a tragic fail if this group buy ruined it for EVERYONE. All in the hands of one member...

I really hope he wises up this week and gets the products out.

I've noticed the way the Wet Okole group buy seems to be the right setup-one person organizes the group, submits the list to the company for the discount. The participants then deal with the company directly for ordering/shipping the product. That will be the ONLY way that I'll get involved in another group buy again.

If my memory serves me correctly, you guys are protected through paypal, am I right? You could always get a refund and take your business elsewhere. There is plenty of places to buy these locks from. FWIW, Pop n' Lock always has, and probably always will have terrible customer service. At one time I wholesaled their locks to retailers. It was always a terrible experience doing business with them.

I'm going to need some popcorn for this one.

I believe our Paypal protection expired a long time ago. You only have 45 days after your payment to submit a case.

This group buy has been going on for about 3 years or so (I think).

I think it's time a moderator or admin got involved.

Fwiw, I've never seen a group buy done like this. Usually a person rounds up the members and the distributor does everything from there.
