Nothing like waiting until the last minute! I honestly don't mind paying *some* money to the gummint in exchange for *some* of the stuff they do. It's all that *other stuff* that I have a problem with. I want to pay taxes on an ala carte plan...

Morning oh aged and wise ones and Susan. One of our cats brought us a little gift this morning - a grackle! In the past few years they've been spending a week or two hanging out in our bamboo patch on their way from wherever they were to wherever they're going. Took that dumb bird a good 10 minutes to find the window we opened to let it back out. You'd think it had never seen the inside a house before.

 

Morning all. Finally getting somewhat caught up on all my projects and other issues. Bedroom is painted, crown molding is up(walls are so far off, thank God for caulking) and furniture is all moved back in. Still need to do the crown molding in the bathroom. Hope to get the bathroom done this weekend. Been doing a lot of driving for the dealership as well as the leasing company. Have a good day all.

Taxes, we finally, after five years since retiring from active duty, got our deductions right last year; nice to only write a $430 check this year. I swear they kept moving the target for three of those years. I like the idea of ala carte.
