They have to be in the house for that to happen.

When she first walks up to the door its slightly creepy.. Like the beginning of a horror, I was expecting her to morph onto some sort of beast and break the door down..

She's on drugs for sure, or just simply daft.

Weird right? I like how she stands there for a few secs just looking at it. If I had been home it would have woke me up. I'm a pretty light sleeper since I work for the FD and I'm always aware of the alarm going off at the station. So I'm still in the same mindset at home.

It would have been awkward as hell for her if you just opened the door while she's standing there

I just installed a home camera system as well. Went with a Swann setup with 4 cameras and the room to add 4 more. So far I have been very happy with the system I just need to tweak the motion email alerts. I'm getting a lot of false positives. 1 TB DVR and four 700 TVL cameras on sale for $275. Well worth the money.

I had to do the same with mine. I was getting false triggers from flying insects. I've got it tweaked now that it works just fine.

That's a likely scenario of how it would have gone down. Of course I would have had my Mossberg 535 down at my side when I opened the door just so they would know I was serious. I would never answer the door at that time of the morning without some sort of precaution.

Posted this earlier in the +40 thread....

The local Police Dept. put the video of the woman that stole the wreath off the front of the house on FB. I don't have a FB account but I've seen it and the comments. Then one of the local news stations is airing it on the news tonight.

    Hahahaha... made front page news.

    And here

    And here

Turns out... "All" the local news channels aired it lol.

HAHA holy shit, I had no clue you lived in Benton. I'm in Maumelle. Theft seems to be heading out this way too. Some fucker stole my light bar off my truck back in December. Wish I had a camera to record it.

Yeah I saw the story of the people going around "selling" magazines in Maumelle the other day.

HAHAHA Thats awesome!! I like how they are using #wreathbandit.

Reminds me of probably 10 years or so ago when we lived at our old house. We had 2 corner lots(i think it was just under 1 acre) in a neighborhood. Well one corner had a small flower bed with 3 trees and some bushes (i think they where holly bushes or something) and a bench, Well one night someone stopped and ripped one of the bushes out of the ground and put it in their truck and drove off. I don’t think mom and dad ever reported it.

We've never had anything like this happen here. Hell... before I got the security system we've accidentally left the garage door open all night numerous times and I've got a lot of shit in there that would actually be worth stealing. Stealing a wreath though? Fucking weird... I personally could give a shit about the wreath (and if I'm honest I was a bit embarrassed when I called the PD to report it) but my wife and daughter made that wreath together and it meant something to them. Another news station came out and picked up the story yesterday. It really must be a slow news week but I can understand the interest since crimes like this are rarely reported and the ONLY reason this one is gaining attention is because of the perfectly clear video.

I heard about that on the radio yesterday as well.. Had to tell the wife about it so she doesn't get suckered in. Back when we had just started dating she lived in Conway and got scammed by people using a similar tactic. It's been a long process, but I've slowly winged her away of thinking that everyone in the world means well....

You have got to be kidding me. I've seen this before, they played this on the Boston news channel the other day.

Edit; Didn't read the whole thing, just the 1st page. Looks like I'm not the only one. Hahaha

From what I understand Felony charges will be brought up. Not just because of a stupid wreath but of a bunch of other things she has done.

Yeah, They came by our neighborhood but that's the nice thing about this security system. I just look at the camera and if I don't know who it is I don't even answer the door :)

    Boston? Holy shit lol

Just found out today that arrest is imminent. I should know something in a few days hopefully.
