That's my plan today.
The doc is taking this *&$$# hard cast off my arm today and installing some sort of brace.
Strange, I'm still getting up at 4 am like I've been doing for the last 33 years.

I'm the same way; I get up around 4:30 whether it's a work day or not. Drives the girlfriend nuts on weekends because she likes to sleep in. But there's a bonus for her; when she gets up there's coffee, breakfast is ready, and during the winter I've got a fire going.

 

Alex how is your head today after your first legal night?

 

Yeah it's tough but somebody on this thread needs to work a 3 day work week . .

 

We made some progress at the gun range in my buddy's back yard yesterday. Got all the trees down , just need to build a small bridge so we can get over the river . Got some mass holes coming up on Sunday to do some shooting . Hopefully this weather sticks around .

Battery on the Ninja finally quit, after 6 years. I can charge it for 12 hours and it'll only have enough oomph to kick the (tiny) motor over once before the starter just clicks.
Oh well. I guess for $25 I can afford a new one. But I wanted to ride today

 

Bump Start? I had a DR650 that had a shit battery and being the cheap ass that I am, and living on a hill, would just bump start it in second gear everytime. Never failed me....

 

Remind me what time for the meet..and anyone bringing the wives?

 

But if it does it will suck to push it back up the hill

 

I do live on a hill, but this bike is WAY too cold blooded for bump starts unless it's already up to operating temp. I have to choke it even when it's 80 degrees out.
And where I work is a flat parking lot on a flat road, so the bump start to get home would be unpleasant, if it worked.
