GA Tacoma Owners BS Thread

Right down the road from Tray mountain, at Unicoi State Park, there is a small lake with some pretty good bass fishing. I've heard of some double digit bass being caught out of there.

 

What type of tent you got? I'll be in the market for one later this summer if you decide to sell it

 

it's a Mombasa roof top tent if I did let it go I would sell it for 1200 and include the bed rack

 

Sleeps four to five.. .. or one large guy who likes pizza and beer .lol

 

But i just threw that number out.. never know

 

While I'm at it selling 885s.. top plates.. top plate spacers..

 

do they bite a lot? idc how big, I just wanna catch a bunch of bass... also what bait is workin for them?

 

This time of year a Texas rigged lizard or brush hog can be deadly. Throwing a Sammy early in shallow water is a must. As the subs gets higher and it warns up switch over to a shallow running crankbait

 

Most action this thread has seen all year

 

I will try and and make the trail ride at least. Probably wont make the overnight stay. Too much work in the summer

 

On worms? Not impressed

I can give a 2 year old a rod and get them to drown a worm and they can catch fish.

Figuring out what spinner/spoon/plug they're going to hit is when it gets hard.

If you want a real challenge, break out the fly rod.

 

I been using a black lizard texas rigged on a red bass hook... its been workin so far

 

yeah, but I wanted to catch them quick.... gutted them and took them to my grandmothers....

 

Challenge accepted. I'm slinging the fly rod on Saturday.

Texas rigged watermelon candy trick worm kills the largemouth and shoal bass here in middle GA. I fish rivers mostly, but we hit ponds too.
