Manual tranny service

Hi folks, new to the forum and first time posting. I've been researching a lot about info in the w59 trannies. I've found some good information but can't find what I'm looking for. I am about to replace the oil in both tranny and transfer case. I know what type of oil to use and how much. The question I have is where is the fill plug for tranny and transfer case? Any pictures would be wonderful. Thank you in advance for any help...

Really just kidding, there seems to be some uproar on politicly correct terms. I had a first Gen, but have forgotten what weights where called for, and can't provide pics. Someone will come along with something useful, we all know I didn't. Didn't see it was your fist post, lots of info on here.

 

$26 75w-90 Synthetic Gear Lube - 1 Quart (Pack of 2)

75w-90, buy around 7small containers and use until you reach the fill line.

Do the front and rear diffs while you're at it.

Always test by removing the fill plug first.

 

Thank y'all. I was going to do all fluids. I've only owned this truck for a month so I figured might as well get my hands dirty and get to know my truck... As well as knowing now what has been done and what hasn't.

 

Buy 8 containers of 75w-90 gear oil in case, 7 should do it though.
