Not with your tires. They stick out well past the glass.

I'm so glad I don't have to deal with those cali laws anymore. Including the cali smog checks. Good luck with getting that ticket scratched off. One good thing about Cali tickets is you can go to a class and it goes away. That option is not available here in Co. You have to go to court and they add points to your record.

All he got was fix it tickets, which are not moving violations.
No need for traffic school. Just needs to "fix" them, get it signed off, and pay the fee.

Are harnesses illegal for road use? Even though its safer in a caged truck?

Yes, illegal. Well...most likely illegal. Most harness are not tested/compliant to FMVSS 209. Schroth is the only company i know of that makes a street legal 4 point harness. It uses a typical clicker type buckle rather than latch or camlock.

Had one of those too. Font window tint was to dark on the wives Honda when I lived it cali. I pulled off the tint. I also knew a CHP so I went to his house and he signed it off for me. Done. I only mentioned the traffic school is because in Cali you can go to traffic school as compared to Co they don't have that option, that's all. But your right, fix it and done.

I had a chp comment on my harnesses when I got pulled over on my way to glamis in my old t100. He said it's kinda a grey area and really depends on the officer. He didn't end up giving me any tickets either which was nice. So the tacoma has stock belts in it and harnesses for when I got off road. One less issue to deal with

I have the Corbeau 4 point retractable harnesses in my crawler, they worked half the time and ended up being a total pain in the ass so I tied em up in a knot around the mount on the roll bar..

I had a similar situation. Dude pulled me over, said I'm not allowed to drive my "race truck" on the road and the belts were illegal. He was a n00b and called a supervisor in, and the CHP sup shows up and says "if you just saw what I saw you'd wish all cars had cages and 5 points". He had just returned from a rollover with fatalities. No ticket and I was on my way.
