    One could argue the standings typically don't mean what they used to given the amount of lower seeded teams that go a long ways in the playoffs in this era. One could also argue that all that being said you still have to make the dance to have a chance.

    Hope is a sign of despair.

    The Jets play tough, and it has cost them a lot of penalties. They also have a strong penalty kill.

    It will undoubtedly be a very physical series. The regular season games they met in certainly were . The Ducks won those games, but barely. Those games were played before the addition of Stafford, Myers, Stempniak and Tlusty.

    Win or lose, it's gonna be fun

    Those are all lower seated teams that made it to the 3rd round, or in many cases further, after the lockout. Seems like it's becoming more common to me. LA is just the most recent poster child for the trend.

    Calgary was about even for winning games after being tied at the end of the first and Vancouver won a large majority of there games after being tied at the end of the first... look how that turned out last night.

    Wasn't James Wisniewski sort of a free agent stud a couple of years ago... what happened to that guy... did Columbus kill him off?
