Yup, just a day trip for me. Meeting up in Rocklin at 8:30 off Sierra college blvd at the chevron. Will be on road by 9 and should be on trail by 10. Just going to run Eagle and if time permits take pierce trail back to main road and take easy route to signal peak.

just got confirmation about my ride height. kind of excited actually. my buddy has a stock FJ. i pulled up next to him and we compared. he wanted a 100 too at one point. ironically we have the same size tire and wheel.. when i got my suspension at full ride height i am actually ~ 2 inches higher.. and basically the same wheel base.. :) made my day...

Finished up my winch install with the COMEUP Seal 9.5s
Really impressed with the quality of the winch so far. Looking forward to trying it out. Line speed is pretty good. Not the fastest but definitely not slow. The synthetic rope looks like excellent quality, as does the included fairlead.
    .
As part of my order I also got a winch dampner and a pair of gloves. Not a big deal but will be nice to have.
    .
Since my ARB bumper has been modified (was originally a winch bumper, but the PO cut all the winch brackets off as well as the lower skirt) I needed to add in some way to mount the winch. I like the higher clearance lower part of the bumper and it was pretty simple to solve the mounting. I used a universal winch cradle that I was able to weld across the frame mounting brackets of the bumper.

You should. Not a lot of people are aware of COMEUP. They're not exactly cheap but that's because they're not *cheap* if you know what I mean. Winches like the XRC winches or other cheap entry level winches aren't even close to the same level of quality. Warn premium winches are the only real competition.

Don't think I'll make it to Rock Therapy. Getting short on Vacation Days. I might try to sneak down for the Saturday but I'll have to see how it looks. It looks like I'll be in Australia the week before that so I may be playing 'catchup' once I get home.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say this bearing might need to be replaced. ;)
