    I found a few threads on removing leaves so I didn't think we needed to start another one, hopefully someone can help me here...

    I want to pull the 2nd overload out of my 1st gen dakars. Is it easier to do this with the springs still on the truck or with them off?

    I think anytime you mess with leaf springs unless for cycling suspension with 1 leaf it should be off the truck.

    I've used a few products over the years but they are all similar. Teflon based lubricant that goes on went, then sets up in a dry, ‘wax-like’ film so it will not attract or absorb grit and grime.

    [​IMG] Lube as needed. The UCA has a teflon sleave around the uniball, it will start moaning and groaning when it needs some lube. :eek::D
