    Hi,
I read and search about power windows for regular cab Tacos. I know there is the A1 electric and spal kits that "motorize" the manual hand crank. But I don't like the look of the hand crank spindle stick out after the conversion.

I like to buy aftermarket or salvage power window regulator and do a real swap instead of conversion. The thing I don't know: Does the window regulator fit for the longer regular cab door/window? I don't want to buy a factory or aftermarket power window stuff only to find out it doesn't fit because the AC and double cab have smaller doors.

So can anyone know has done a swap or knows anything about this...appreciate some input. Thanks!

Buy new junkyard doors. Run new wires. I don't see why you're doing this. But okay. Best of luck.

I have a regular cab... they don't make door panels or other mechanical parts for regular cab for power windows. Junkyard doors won't help unless I know access cab or double cab regulators will fit onto regular cab windows. If you are not aware...Toyota made regular cab doors several inches longer than access cab and double cab door are even shorter.

I don't mind them either until I have to roll down the passenger side while driving.

Okay, I'm going to ask a dumb question. Aren't the access cab doors and regular cab doors the same size? I guess I just assumed the difference in cab length was made up with the addition of the 2 small back doors and that the front doors are the same.

I answered already...but since you ask... I thought so too...but not true. My neighbor has access cab 2013...I have 2014 regular cab... .My door is longer (wider) and so is the door panel itself. Otherwise...be real easy to just find and buy new door panels and parts to swap.
