At your height and tire size as well as driving style you won't even realize it's gone.

How did it feel when we went to Home Depot and wal mart to get that Dremel? Mines been gone for over a year and no issues. Now when I had the 6 in lift at first I noticed but quickly I mean same day quickly got used to it


My truck has a little less flex than Gideon's or Levi's because my suspension is stiffer but I've never felt like I was going to roll or tip over going around a curve at 50.

 

I'm looking for a decent place to go truck camping in east Tennessee. Does anybody have any suggestions? I'd rather it be off grid but a place with hook ups would suffice for now. I just need to get away for a weekend.

 

Panther creek, Douglas dam, Cherokee dam, hookups. Anywhere off exit 7 in nc going to max patch. Or Cherokee forest non hook up

This is what you do ..... We'll say you can get 13k for your truck by selling it. You still need 3.5k more so you take a trip to your bank and get a loan (under your name and credit) and there's your money. Getting a loan for you will probably have a high interest rate, maybe in the 20s, but as long as you have no late payments and/or pay it off early then it's a great way to start building good credit

 

Yeah I love the price. If the truck was completely stock, being an 05 with sub 110k miles on it I bet you could get at least 16.5k for it. Then you have 20k in parts in it. I'd say its at least worth what it is stock. Of coarse it's gotta be sold to the right person, which is a limited market, but if I was looking to buy a built 2nd gen Tacoma then I'd def be shopping this thing.

Yeah I agree. The no sway bar thing is great. The truck rides so much smoother both on and off road. Although my truck isn't the poster boy for showing off how much body roll no sway bar doesn't create. I can damn near stuff my front tire on a hard turn. Haha

 

I couldn't tell any difference, but I wasn't driving.

I think Adam is right that it wouldn't be a big deal for my truck, but I think I'll put the brackets on first and see how that goes.

 

Had to remove my sway bar because it was coming in contact with my OME springs. Drives a lot better now imo.

 

Do you have the 886 springs? I'm thinking I will have to remove my sway bar also.

 

If you're going to run those 35s and 886 I highly recommend taking it off. My exact setup is ome 886 1/4 lean spacer ome struts no sway bar and wrangler Mtrs 315/75/16. You'll enjoy the ride so much more with out the sway bar.

 

Yeah have the 886 and 90000 shocks up front

 

That's the exact setup I have waiting to go on. I hope I don't regret getting the hankooks instead of the MTRs.

I'm sure you love that setup also. I'm ready to get mine installed once the bumper and everything comes in.

Any advice on uca from anybody?

 

I went with LR UCAs from Headstrong. Best price around and free 2 day shipping. Depends on if you want stock ball joints or uniball.

Pretty truck though. I've got a sotashi grill, but mine is garbage. I love the look of that raptor grill! Very clean looking!
