They were selling a customer's wheels for him but they sold the wrong ones. Apparently the customer had 2 sets of wheels in storage and they just grabbed the first set with the customer name.
The sales guy that sold them to me called in a big panic this morning and I couldn't leave him responsible to replace them. If it was on O'Regan's I would've told them to pound sand but the salesman would have been out like $3000 (New rims, tires, lugs, tire air sensors) and possibly could have job security problems.
So I did the right thing and hit him up for $100 to pay for my time and fuel haha.
He came and got them this afternoon.

Depressing for me. I doubt I will ever see them for sale locally again. I searched all Canada kijiji and there weren't any listed in any colour.

That blows. They seem to pop up quite a bit in the states but probably an arm and a leg to ship.

? They were priced right. Brand new they are $1600 here (wheels only) but that is crazy dealer cost. From American dealers they are $900 for the set.
$1100 for them used with cheap tires isn't stolen prices. It's actually pretty reasonable.

Yeah, problem is shipping 4 wheels up here isn't cheap. Haha

I hear you with the shipping. It would cost 400 dollars give it take to get a set of oem Matrix XRS wheels here. That's USD. The dollar is really f***ing us right now lol. I know when I bought my retrofit parts for my Altezza it was like an extra 100 after the conversion. My 400 dollar order came out to be about 500. Than the 47 at the post office. Defiantly have to pay to play up here. :(

For what it costs to shipping things that big I would drive to Calais and get them. Only 500kms each way

Only works when you have a non expired passport. I need to get on that.
I hope so. All the for casts I've read for it have it staying around the 80 cent mark for the remainder of this year. People made fun of me for buying my JDM on a low dollar, but Japan is doing about as well as us right now so it's really not that bad. ;)

I saw those advertised somewhere lately. Maybe Sangsters in Elmsdale or PartSource? Probably worth the phone call.
