There was a guy on here running RCD & 883 coils with 35s also and from what he told me it worked but if he hit bumps he'd rub pretty bad. Your backspacing sounds good though. I have 17x9" with 4½" backspacing myself.

You could always go the rout I took and have an exceptional ride that can't be beat with an ability to adjust your suspension as needed.

Got a question for you guys, Anyone know what the degree of taper the RCD rear blocks have?

If you're looking for the level look, 4" alcans will do that.
If you want the factory rake look, you'll want to go higher in the rear. Closer to the 5" range.

I learned that the hard way and ended up putting in a 3/4" block with the 4" alcan springs.

Also, they told you 4 weeks.. get ready for a much longer wait than that.

I def prefer the level look, I ordered a 4" pack with a torque spring.
And I have heard the story's about long wait times from Alcan. I guess time will tell lol.

I believe the Icon setup is between 1400-1500.
I decided to buy the Fox upgrade coil overs for our RCD kit. They just came in this week. Got to say they are sexy as hell lol. 1450 shipped from Down South Motorsports with the added spanner wrench. You would think for that price they would throw it in the spanner wrench, but no it's 9.99 lol.

Nice! Hurry up and install so we can get feedback of the ride quality compared to the 5100's that come with the kit. How high are you planning on cranking them up?

I was thinking of squeezing another inch or so out of it, we will see. Might just leave it alone lol. I will def post back when I get it all installed. Good news is I got a tracking number tonight for the Alcan springs. 4 weeks and 3 days, happy I didn't end up with a long wait like some others I have seen. I knew that going in when I ordered them, figured I'd just wait it out if I had too.

    Happy Taco Friday all :)

Got my new fox coil overs installed today. Bitter sweet. Although the new ride is awesome I have to give out a big fuck you to down south motor sports for sending a generic spanner wrench that doesn't even fit in the strut tower. (Had to grind it to make it work, and poorly at that) Also a big fuck you to Fox for changing to a single adjustment ring setup with a set screw rather than the double ring setup like most coilovers on the market. Sorry DSM, you def have lost any future purchases from me. You would think for the price I paid for these coilovers Fox could at least include the proper spanner wrench. At the end of the day the ride is awesome and I'm really happy with that but the piss poor spanner wrench combined with Foxes shitty design for the adjustment ring made for a really frustrating day.

    Sucks to hear that.
In terms of ride over the RCD bilsteins, is it noticeably different? If so, can you describe it once you've clocked a few more miles on them?

Regarding the adjustment ring to a "screw", can you snap a pic and show what you mean by this?
