    What haven’t I changed?
Might just be the ST MAXX. I aired down to 18 psi a few weeks ago and couldn't really tell by looking at it.

They are def on the stiff side and don't flex too much... I saw them bouncing rather than gripping a few times. I believe he ran them at 20psi front and rear

Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
Are those ST Maxx Load Range E??? I ran my KM2 255s at 12-15 PSI regularly and they conformed a lot even though they were E rated.

I know the 255 85 16 are E rated. They are a little stiffer than the KM2's surprisingly. I haven't aired down yet but just driving on the freeway they are a little stiffer. Might be because they are new and the KM2's were old though.

I dropped to 20 psi, because I have 255/80/17 (which are load range E) on the Stealths 8.5 width wheel I was concerned of popping a bead. A stiff load range E tire doesn't bother me, they may ride hard but its a truck... and the fact that I have extra protection from punctures and tare make the most sense. I do love the love the cooper maxxs, but with Rausch in mind and other rocky terrains I might go to 285s :notsure: yet.

I have run my 285s at 15 PSI the last couple trips to Rausch with out any issues.
