I think I went to Hollister with a blown boot last time and it was fine, just do it soon after IMO.

    Nice.

Or just swap to manual hubs. IMHO, the boots last much longer with manuals, since the axles only spin when the rig is in 4WD. Infinitely less fatigue on the boots. I don't expect to ever have a torn boot. :D

Yeah that would be a good alternative. Looked into that a little... wonder if there are any compatability issues between manual hubs and long travel..

I was kidding about the sas..lol..I was waiting for the "well that escalated quickly" meme..lol

Eh, I already bought an axle today. Rob is waiting for a boot before shipping me the other one. But that does sound like a good alternative :)

Haha yeah I almost said that... damn should gone with my gut. Did you see the guy in "what have you done 1st gen" thread that had low oil in his truck and jumped first to the obvious solution... v8 swap? That cracked me up.

I've got some serious cutting/BFHing this week. With stock wheels and no spacer i clear except for the UCA and frame. With a 1.25 spacer I clear both but need to best the fuck out of the firewall and i've already done quite a bit.
