I experimented with powder-coating. The rear wheel is a copper color. I just did one wheel to see if I would like it. Now I decided I'm going to buy all new wheels this summer.

Here's a close up of the wheel. It was fun to do, just too much work sandblasting.

Installed the LED map, dome, reverse, and license lights I got on Amazon. My truck is too old (manly) to have vanity lights but they did fit in the wife's focus.

More like Toyota is too cheap and made the tacoma super basic.

Plenty of other toyotas have vanity lights from before 2007.

Not that I care, less stupid crap I don't need, the better, like you said...manly.

Put a bed mat in, should have done this a long time ago. Picked it up from Autoanything for a great price.

Relentless fab armor, cattleguard on front (useful here, lots of cows and sheep), nerfs for mom and pop, interior and exterior (bed) lights, Dual rack w/ lights, stripped off all the TRD decals, and stripes and painted chrome emblems same color as the truck. Grillcraft black grill w/ black paint in back, elusive elements light bar inside w/ additional lights, old grill cutout, yakima rack mount, better tires.
Put on Ride Rite suspension, cut nerf bars and added bumperettes for new popup camper.
Old bars, bent up from hitting rocks.

Cut to fit. You can see the bar is bent up from hitting rocks.

    Ride Rites.

I have a Jeep YJ and replaced the bumper years back; I kept the bumperettes. I put them on my bumper because the camper extends past the bumper. I also added some hard rubber to the bumperette in case I back into something. The D ring still works. You can see my camera and the ride rite air valve as well.

Bumperette from an angle. Oh, and before the camper I did major maintenance. Took off the armor and decided to make it easy to reinstall by cutting holes for wrenches.

I guess I've got to start this very soon....
Took her to Cleghorn off of the 138 in Southern California. Went down a trail I felt was questionable form the start but I had already hit the point of no return... IT was meant for something with either a higher clearance or a shorter wheel base... Put the first dent in the lower body>>>>>> (where sliders would work their magic) and will now be ordering from Relentless FAB. Either way had a blast and even had her teetering on two wheels. Great first time out in my TACO!
