I think it's a good move. Hammond was really struggling with getting across the net. Two goals in the last game were a direct result of poor lateral movement.

 

Hammond is a good goalie but it's hard with huge pressure. I always played nets growing up but recently we went into a pretty competitive ball hockey league and the final game was huge. I never felt more un easy playing ever and that was just some provincial garbage game lol can't imagine the pressure in the playoffs.
Definitely something you have to get use to

Cameron also said he expects to insert tough veteran Chris Neil into the third line in place of Alex Chiasson. Neil hasn't played a game since Feb. 14.

I think the players in the Sens locker would rather see the guy who won 14 strait games for the team when he showed up to save the season.

 

I almost want the Sens to win so I can go to the bell Center again for game 5.

Players don't care whose in net as long as they are confident in them. If the coach is switching goalies it's likely because the coach can see the players are losing confidence in Hammond to make the stops when they need him. There is no question that Hammond got them into the playoffs. However he has let in 3 goals that I can clearly remember that were down right sloppy goal tending. Anderson might be the right move, and it's better to try it now rather than 3 games down.

It's called Hockey 101.

The Neil thing is interesting though. I can't see why they are putting him in. He hates the team and is probably going to be a poison more than anything.
