    I've seen some comments that are definitley internet bullshit but I had a couple buddy's in high school with body lifts and they had issues left and right. Especially with ride quality steering components and hole punching in the floor boards and bed

    Agreed, bodylift over 1" is a no go for me. Under 1" usually uses a polyurethane bushing and not metal, which isn't as bad, but still not great. And :wave:

    I have a feeling that had multiple layers of bullshit as the core problem. Bullshit vehicles, bullshit install of bullshit parts and bullshit drivers. Everything vehicular and high school related seem to be bullshit. That's pretty much a universal truth.

    1" BL vs limiting up travel as not to knock out your headlights. I'll take the BL. Not to mention it's pretty much required to twin stick and or add a crawl box.


    The problem with forums is that 99% of it is people telling each other what can't be done.

    yeah i hate the "well the guys on the forum said..." response. thats my opinion and why i won't run one but that doesn't mean everyone else shouldn't. i hate that we have to run a BL to do a crawl box. I'm interested to see how yours does with only a 1in

    It'll be fine. I'm by no means the first. Others have had them for a couple years with no adverse effects and they work their trucks harder than mine.

    Once HomerTaco puts his on they'll be dozens of orders rolling in and it will be deemed acceptable. Cause that's TacomaWorld

    i know i don't understand lol. i was glad to see that 35s could be done without drop bracket after everyone said that 285s were huge. anything away from the normal TW standards is awesome. i like finding new ideas on here not limits.
