So after almost 6 months of waiting for frame replacement I got it back with large dent in right front fender and a check engine light the next day. They fixed dent but denied it was them. With the engine light they state "air injection stuck we do not remove the engine or tran we drain power steering when doing frame and thr light was on and the dent tooo"
    What a PIA!

i would keep it as simple as "it wasnt there when i dropped it off" and see how they handle that. total BS man, if what you're saying is true at least, that it wasnt there.

they disconnect everything evap related and fuel related to swap frames.

then they have to reconnect everything perfectly.

frame swap ? and an engine emissions code afterward ?,
almost clearly and absolutely the fault of the
peeps swapping the frame. there are just far too many hose and electrical connections
for them to say 'it's couldn't have been the frame swap'

but who knows...could have been chance

How do you replace the frame without removing the engine and trans? I'd love to see that procedure...

It's true. Also, in the recommendation for service there is no mention of check engine light and the air injection stuck codes. So how was light already on?
They fixed the dent which appeared to happen when they were trying to line up cab to frame with no questions. I am upset because they tried to pass it over like I wouldn't notice a large dent. Hopefully they put more pride in the rest of replacement work.
I talked to service manager but don't expect much. I don't even think they went over it to see if it was something simple to correct.

Update to my headache. Service manager emailed a response,
"My tech said there's 2 air pumps on your vehicle but only one is causing the light to come on. He said the pump is working and seizing up. He said the length of time the vehicle was sitting and not being driven could have caused the condition. I can get some pricing together for you if you would like. "
So, I asked who I need to talk to because I don't feel any obligation to pay anything.
He responded, "1 888-869-6828 is for Toyota assistance for recalls. Premier Toyota will be able to assist with cost of replacement, discount, for parts and labor on the dealerships end. "
Please note I called the number above, it's for Toyota Canada!

You should reply, "I think you need new Tech, there are no air pumps on 2005 " This is not 2012+ truck...

Well I had some time and ambition yesterday so I started to look around under hood. Well I found a tube/hose that was not connected to the ASV. It was just hanging down from above (sensor?). Reconnected and cleared code. I drove about 40 miles or so and stopped and restarted numerous times and no return of the check engine light. Hope this was it. It simply amazes me that dealer/techs couldn't do a simple trouble shooting especially after performing the frame replacement. I am no mechanic but I can change parts and even I know that stuff can get loose when you are moving things around. They wanted me to pay like 1500 for a new pump or something.
