I thought one had to purchase the sport model to get the LSD but I saw a 10 base that had LSD marked as standard. It also had towing package.
What is a good price for the base SR5 with towing package. List was 28 something; dealer was asking 26900.

Its an "Auto LSD", which uses brake aplication to stop the slipping wheel, and transfer the torque to the non slipping wheel. Its not a mechanical LS diff.

Is it the same one as in the Sport model?

Yep. The 09's all have the Auto LS diff.

In this case the "sport" model doesn't really offer anything over the trd off road. I was thinking I would rather have a true LSD over the locking diff and was considering a TRD sport. But now I think I may be leaning toward the TRD offroad.

    Thanks for the replies.
