    Congrats Picked mine up a couple weeks ago (only have 300 miles on it) After thinking long and hard about the 16 and seeing them I decided to grab a Gen 2 while they were still available new. Picked up a 14 and decided to get a new 15.

    The worse thing about the 16 IMO is the interior. The round vents are fugly IMO.

    yeah, i thought and thought about the '16 and decided against it. i know the '15 has 10 years of proven technology to back it up. Got a hell of a lease at $330 a month with zero down

    Flowin, did you miss the hail storm, I was in Gastonia yesterday and almost shit in my pants when i saw pics of golf ball sized hail in Dallas dude, i only have 60 miles !!!

    Love the color. It's what I ordered. My dealer said that my Tacoma will be built on April 28th. I'm wondering if he really knows this or it's just dealer talk.

    Very interesting.

    In my region, I cannot even build a 4x4 off road double-cab short bed in that color on the Toyota web site. It's my favorite color of all, but I had to settle for silver.

    I made a similar decision just recently. I don't really expect many if any "problems" with the 2016. The bigger deciding factor for me was there is 10 years of knowledge on the 2nd gens. Want to disable ABS? There is already a thread for that. Want to use the defrost on recirc with no AC? There is already a thread for that. Want too... Well you get the picture. With the 2015 I can just search for mods and problems. With a 2016 I'd have to be the one figuring it out and writing that "how to" post.

    Anyway, congrats on the nice new truck!

    Well dealers can always fib, but it is likely they know. My dealer had a build date which proved accurate and had tracking on the truck as it moved along the rail system from the factory to the dealer.
