Anyone running 2 50" bars on one of these racks, straight or curved. I would really like one of these racks with 2 50's out front.

Might do a car show or two. No sema though. I just really like being different and standing out.

The racks are only 47" wide so in order to fit even one 50" you would have to customize it. I have done a few but they were one off type deals. The other problem is that the racks are pretty low profile. 2-50" lightbars isn't and is going to stick up higher than the rack

Got a few questions. The depth of the T slot is different from the HD bars to the regular bars. Are there specific T slot nuts for the HD bars? Do the T studs from 80/20 fit in both the HD and regular bars? Just wondering because i have a mixture of HD and regular bars on my rack. Thanks

HD bars take 10 series tnuts accessories, whereas the Standard bars take 15 series tnuts and accessories. Dont ask me why the large profiles have smaller hardware thats one thing I still dont understand.

So, I know I am the odd ball out here. But since this thread has more "Zach-Rack" action than on the FJ forums I wanted to post here about how I impressed I am with how this thing deals with the weight of RTT in action. If the rack abilities have already been discussed, I can add that I am pretty confident in saying this setup is expedition ready/rated.

I had a chance to really put the all aluminium rack and Tepui tent combination to the test on a fairly hard 10 mile trail in the southern Utah desert. About 3 miles of the trail is one hard hour worth of purposefully navigating 1-2 foot drops and big boulders which resulted in the highest rotational loads that I could put this combination through. Afterward, I tested all the fittings - not one bolt on the cross bars came loose. I measured the tent position and it showed no signs of shifting horizontally along the cross bars - something I have heard is an issue with the round Yakima type bars. There was even a hard rain storm recently (including snow) in Salt Lake providing a leak test of the standoff spacers - a dry headliner meant no leaks which I assume means the sealant didn't pull away from the spacers and maintaining the water proof seal.

I now have no concern about the weight rating of rack, i.e. Tepui Autana RTT, fuel and water and some additional cargo (considering your vehicles payload or GVW). Which by the way was the topic of an awesome article that just came out via Expedition Portal. But you Taco guys don't have to worry so much about this kinda stuff!!! http://expeditionportal.com/fatty-fatty-4x4-why-gvwr-matters/

Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
Why? I have a single 50" and it is often way too much light....What is the goal here?
