I believe that fishy smell may be a remnant hooker perfume.

Amateur mistake. You always go to the hookers before the casinos. :D

Whelp, to those still subb'ed this ordeal has come to a close...

Three weeks later and the truck wasn't recovered so I get total loss reimbursement. I was ready to get bent over by the insurance company for fair market value but to my surprise that was not the case....

This story does have a happy ending, AAA insurance ended up cutting a check for a little over $32,000! I was not disappointed and with that I am a customer for life.

For those of you that thought this was a BS story - Haters gonna hate. Vegas chewed me up and spit me out. Expensive lesson learned. Going to be selling some of the various left over parts and call it done.

I got googly eyed on an F150 FX4 Ecoboost but I am forcing myself to be more practical at this point. I have a 3 month old girl and with my work I don't necessarily need a truck right now. Don't get me wrong, I would love another tuck but its nicer to have the padding in the bank account right now.

The only footage I got to see was the truck leaving the garage and it was for identification purposes only.

Its like I saw on an earlier post.... The cameras are there for the casinos safety not the guests.

I feel for you man. All tourist crime seems to be an inside job. I went there a couple years ago and had some nice rays rims on my corolla worth more than the car. Got in at 5pm and by 7pm they were gone but I didn't know till the next day. Its not a truck but damn be careful when you go to these places. I think I will use valet for now on, then most of it will be on the casino. Same thing they said anything in the garage is park at your own risk, hotel wont do anything about it. Sucks all around for you man at least you got a good deal from AAA.

Glad to hear the insurance took care of you. Sucks to lose a truck, but sucks even worse if you take a financial hit later. You can always get a PreRunner and still keep 10K in your pocket. The dealerships in my area are practically giving away the 2014's.
I can totally understand going with something that costs less, and is easy on gas when you have a new family. Hope the new vehicle works out for ya!

Speaking of gm, I passed a brand new caddy w/dealer plates still and it was spewing a butt ton of smoke. I see they are still making them as they use to :D

Hey guys sorry to bring back the thread to life but I have a story to tell. First of all I'm sorry to hear about your truck. Really awesome build. All of my cars i purchase usually salvaged or totaled from the auction because i can get them at a lower price so guess what? I purchased the truck of Copart Insurance Auto Auction. I will attach the pictures of what it looked like when I purchased and what it looks like now. The truck was stripped missing the bumper, headlights and wheels. The grill was tossed in the bed of the truck. I have no idea what mods you had on there but the suspension was left alone. I'm assuming you had a cb radio in there, a scangauge of some sort and all of that was stolen. There were wet Okele seat covers in the pictures but were missing when I received the truck. The small american flags on the doors are still on there and I am keeping them there.

Thats the pictures from the auction

And this is what it looks like after I finished it.
