Top plate spacers are 1/4"-1/2" maximum. I have a 1/2" one that I used with my 885's because at the time, no one was running the 887s as those are typically for 4Runners.

    Yes sir
I've got 887's in the garage right now, but from what I've read on the OME thread, lots of guys are saying the 886's are too stiff unless you have over 200 lbs in the front. Even Dan was saying they're too stiff. I've also seen a decent number of guys with aluminum bumpers and winches with 885's or 887's. Can't say I've seen 884's on a 2nd gen though with a bumper and winch.

Okay so I'm sold on the OME's. Curious as to what options I need to choose... This is what I've selected so far:
    Front Shocks : 9000
    Front Coil : 886
Front Top Plate Spacers : No Front Top Plate Spacer <<<< Do I need these?
Add rear shock stone guards : yes???????

That's what I'm thinking with Aluminum bumpers and a winch; 885 or 887. 886 would be steel bumper and winch.

For the front shocks, 90000's are valved stiffer than the 90021's which are valved softer for a bit of a softer ride in comparison. For the rear, 60091's.

Headstrong has where you can choose 90000 or 90021. I'm pretty sure all the kits come with 60091's in the rear. You can call to confirm though.

If you call them and let them know that you are a TW member, they will work with you to get the best price possible. (Talking about Headstrong of course)

Yea, I know you can still get N182's for the rear but you might have to call and ask them. I know wheelers has them on discount if they have any left in stock since they're being fazed out.

So Toytec is offering the complete kit WITH DAKAR for $1349 but doesn't offer the 90021's or the light racing UCA's

Headstrong is offering the kit WITHOUT DAKAR but with light racing UCA's and 90021 struts for $1589

Pretty sure thats not the stone guard, thats just the boot and all the OME shocks come with the plastic boot.

The stone guard is the steel protector plate at the lower mount that is a fabricated part, Toytec and other comps make them. More of an add on item thats not needed.

Like the ubolt flip kit, unless you plan to drag your shit all over rocks like the the rock crawler folks do both items IMO are a waste of money and serve no purpose.

I believe you are correct. Maybe some vendors call them stone guards? :notsure:

I believe when I ordered, I checked the option for stone guards because that's the only option that mentioned a guard or boot option and that's all I got.
