Anytime you lift there is a chance of premature wear

I'm just meaning is the angle of them going to be worse than a 2.5" (885 w/ top spacer) of lift?

So if the CV angles end up being to great and the boot ends up wearing. How do you compensate? Lower lift height?

That'll help my cv's from wearing out faster? And what exactly is the boot slide mod?

What did you put up front & what did you get?
887s with driver side trim packer and 1/4" top plate spacer:
    Driver Side:
    Before: N/A After: 23 7/8"
    Passenger:
    Before: N/A After: 23 7/8"

What did you put in back & what did you get?
    Dakars with D29XL AAL
    Driver Side:
    Before: N/A After: 25 1/4"
    Passenger:
    Before: N/A After: 25 1/4"

If you got Dakars on a 2nd Gen share your measurements with OZ:
    Done.

Are you running trail armor & how much lift did you lose or what did you do to regain/maintain lift?
    Not running any armor.

Tire & wheel specs & rub or what you did to eliminate rub.
    Toyo Open Country AT2s
    265/75/R16
Stock TRD OffRoad Wheels with SpiderTrax 1.25" Wheel Spacers
Had minor rubbing with no lift on the mud flaps, so I removed them.
With no mud flaps and the lift I have no rubbing, but I plan to install Husky Front Mud Flaps and see if I have any rubbing.

Had some vibrations at about 7-10mph, but installed the drive shaft spacer that OME includes with their lift and it eliminated it. Rides great now.

Are you still running a sway bar?
    No.

What made you decide to go with 887s and the 1/4" top plate? Seems like you would be sitting close to 4" of lift.

    Any plans for armor?

From what I read about the 885s, everyone was using the 1/2" top plate spacer to get the full 3" and the 1/4" to remove the driver side lean. With the 887, you get the 3" lift without the additional spacer on the passenger side, but I did still need to correct the lean, as the trim packer was not enough.

No plans for armor now as it's my DD and I don't do too much offroading.
