    I'm going to have a nap before supper. We had a nasty thunderstorm at about 3 AM this morning and I never got back to sleep before I had to get up for work. The truck was soaked AGAIN when I left for work this morning. It's been in the shop 3 times for a leak that they just cannot fix. Thinking hard about trading it in. Don't really want to, but can't stand wet carpets or the mold that will surely show up when it gets warm.:mad:

    If you've been taking it to the same dealer to fix maybe you should try somebody else? Is this a common 2nd issue? Just gotta find somebody who's dealt with it before and knows what's wrong.

    Did you get the Runner back yet?

    No Runner yet, the truck is still full of cookie crumbs! The people who have been trying to fix the leak have worked on it 3 times so far, the third time I brought it in I was pretty upset and made a bit of a scene in the service department. They didn't charge me and also told me to let them know if I had any more issues with it. I called and made an appt. for Monday, and since we are down to one car right now I told them I needed a loaner (at no charge). They are getting one more shot, then if it still leaks, I really don't know what I'm going to do. Trading it in seems a bit drastic, but I'm worried about rust and mold in the future if it still leaks and I keep it. It's a shame, this truck has been good to me up until now, no mechanical issues at all. It's at 110,000 miles, and still looks as good as the new ones on the lot.
