Defog?

I have noticed recently as the nights and mornings get cooler, and I use my heat more! My truck windows are fogging up! What does everyone do to keep their truck windows from fogging while they drive??

 

If your have more than usual window fogging, you may have a water leak into the cab. Check under your carpet on both sides. Another cause may be your heater core may be leaking, check that also. I use my defrost/defog setting and have no issues. On my wife's Jeep Grand Cherokee, we had a water leak (which we didn't know) from the front window, and under the passenger side carpet was always wet. She had a major fogging problem for 2 years before we found the leak/water. Once that was fixed, and dry, no more defogging issues. Also, while in defog mode, make sure your using fresh air from outside, not re circulate. Try cracking the windows open about 1/2 inch to get fresh air too. Hope this helps...

Turn on the AC with the heat to dry out the air on the windshield and side windows. It will defog faster that way.

 

Yea I have no leaks, and I have been using recirculated air! But it is no more than normal, just enough to annoy me!

 

I have heard that rainx on the inside of the car helps that. I have never tried it but if someone has please let me know if it works.

I don't think you're supposed to use recirc.

For moisture on the inside I use cold air A/C on the defrost fan setting, for the stuff on the outside I use the heat and defrost fan setting.

Maybe try cracking the window?
