I am thinking of putting a sleeping platform in the bed of my truck this summer to go on long off-road camping trips. I have a pretty good idea of what exactly I am going to do for the sleeping platform but I am looking for advice/builds from people who have done this. Is there anyone who has a sleeping platform build thread or know of one. If so, please include a link to it.
I have a stock '96 4x4 reg. cab and want to know what things I should modify for mild off-roading in mostly rocky terrain.

I have searched for quite some time now for builds like this, but haven't come across any.

Any and all help is much appreciated.

    np.

I'm not sure how that works. If you make a new thread with a simple title just as you have, similiar results show at the bottom of the page. Not sure if you actually have to hit "enter" and start your thread or if you can do it without hitting enter, find the results at the bottom and delete or not actually "post" your thread.

    Good luck!

Does anybody have any suggestions for anything I need to modify for some off-roading (ie. shocks, coils, tires, etc.). Everything is bone stock and I'm not sure if my truck can handle having a sleeping platform in the bed while mild off-roading.
