OME 881 coils with OME nitrochargers shocks up front. TC UCA's OME Dakars with extra leaf in the rear. Warn 8000 winch with 80ft custom braided synth line. Custom 60ft synth extension. All pro tube bumper, Hi-lift jack, Safari Snorkel, Wilco tiregate. 2019 Jeep JLUR.
They did a 70 chevelle I think on one of the many car prove on velocity for the wounded warrior project. Guy in a wheelchair. They added a 3rd, half door like the rc8, suicide style.
It was pretty badass and it blended in seamlessly with the front door.

    Edit: shows.

I'm a noob to the forum and still waiting for my truck I picked up on eBay to get here from FL. Supposed to be here Monday, 28th. Here's a couple of pics. I won this for $7600. Costing me $1200 to get it shipped though. I stalked these things on all the auction sites and finally landed this one. 2002 V6 175,000 miles.

If anyone has a spare "scuff guard" (as the dealership calls it) for the drivers door PM me! It's the thing that holds the carpet to the floor with the 4 screws holding it down with wires under it. Thanks!

I wish it didn't have the drive by wire and did have a 5-speed, but I am getting used to them both.

5 speed swap is easy if you have all the parts, I'm considering doing it if my auto ever goes out. I don't ever want to replace this truck and since autos are so costly to repair, be best to go with a stick when that day comes.

Does anyone know whey they didn't offer a 5 speed in the double cabs? They do in the second gens so it never made sense to me why they didn't do it with the first gens.

Nothing yet, only thing it does is hold 2nd gear longer when it's cold to help warm up faster. It shifts at 2500 rpm instead of 2000.

When my transmission breathes it's final breath i'll definitely be opting for a manual. It's fine for now though. I do find that going up a steep hill it takes longer to shift sometimes and feels like i'm revving the crap out of the truck. Letting off the gas for a second usually does the trick.

It's not as bad with OD off but i'm not sure I like the idea of switching OD on and off all the time with the amount of hills around here.

I agree I wish they made the 1st gen DC's for a longer range of years. At the same time though there's a bit of a rarity to them, which is cool. Like with 2nd gen Tacomas, everybody and their dog has one, you might see 8 of them at one intersection where I'm from.

Whenever I come across another 01-04 DC owner it's a tip the hat moment, especially if it's been loved and modified. :D
