I just bought an 06 SR5 4x4 without any mudflaps. Rainy season is coming here in Northern California and I went to the dealership and they gave me a price quote of about $97 a piece... here are the part numbers
    76621-04100
    76622-04100
    76625-04171
    76626-04171

Anyone know of a better place to get them? The parts guys told me they made a few different styles that year and needed my VIN to get those numbers...

Look around online- People sell them here or on EBay all the time.

You can look for universal types too and just fit them on to the truck however works...

    Not enough
Unless they changed them the Stock flaps are a poor design. I think the plastic is to hard. Damn near everything plastic on my truck breaks easily. I installed some after market ones from Pep boys and they are really good. No problems.

Just put them on e-Bay- I saw another set sell for $200, but they were off a 4x4, so maybe they are worth more?

I just went down and took them off, took all of 1 minute per flap and I didn't break any of the clips that I read people do. Hum, off to the for sale forum then to ebay after a few days.

I could not believe how fast they sold too. Remember, for those like myself who do not run with the flaps, there are just as many who would not drive their trucks without them. I knew they were coming off my new truck for two reasons- prior to owning this Tacoma, I saw a friend with a TRD Off Road just slowly back up into a small dirt mound and the rt rear flap just came off with ease. Function score - negative for off road use. Plus, they just look ulgy to me.

    None, yet
Years ago on my 1990 Truck I found some black rubber sheet and made my own after losing my flaps on a trail. Pre-internet days we had to be self sufficient and improvise... Had to buckle the sheet a bit since the mounting holes are not all flush, and thus looks a bit crappy....BUT they work, are cheap and they're gonna get trashed off-road anyway, so they're readily replaceable for low cost.

I bought flaps @ O'Riley's for $60 for a set of 4, shorter more flexible and fit really well, after the $200 I made on ebay of my stocks flaps I still came out $140 ahead. The OEM flaps are pretty worthless stiff as a board & too long all you have to do is back up into a snowbank or mound of dirt and they are broke off or cracked, some people on here have torn up the underside of their fender well when they are ripped off & their ugly.

If you want new stock ones try those part numbers on toyotapart.com.
Usualy a lot less expensive than OTC at the dealer.

I have a pair of fronts off my 07 4x4, sitting in my garage. The plastic rivets are broke but the flap itself is fine. Willing to make a deal, pm me.
