Trust me, I've thought about that alot. What do you think would be a fair price for a custom basket? Like $300-350? It actually took a lot of time and work. Maybe one day I'll start that up.

I think $300-$350 would be a fair price. In contrast the Yakima Load Warrior sells for $250 but does not have provisions for lighting like yours does.

It might be worth it then. It's going to be much beefier than the Yakima.
It's nice because it will be easy to mount accessories to. I'm looking forward to loading it up!

i would DEFINETELY buy one, except for the fact i currently dont have a roof rack, but when i get one, i would love to have this! paint it black or a combination of the vehicle color and black

Me too. I'm starting to go that direction with my ideas. I ride bikes a lot and love camping so I figured I'd build stuff that I could utilize on a regular basis. Plus, it just looks rugged.

I don't have fabrication skills either dude. This has been my first welding project and it has certainly been a learning one. All it takes are some specialized tools and a little drive. Welding isn't that hard. Welding well is much more difficult. But as long as you cover all the gaps with metal, you can always grind and polish later!

that is awesome!!!. I love the baja racks, plus gives you more storage, and lighitng all around the vehicle..... Where are the Holes you talk about to mount it? I have an AC and about to go to the steel yard and fab one up........but no clue how to mount it to my roof. very cool
