Don't accidentally run the NEX reverse signal wire to a constant 12v... the unit will get stuck on the backup camera. Pioneer knows about this and can't fix mine... pretty posses at myself

Truck looks good, DCLB FTMFW

BTW don't waste your money on 50% tint. I would recommend 30% or 35% it's clear enough to see at night but dark enough during the day to be legal in most states. 50% is like almost clear daylight and a waste of money.

I have 35% on the driver side and front passenger. Out back including the rear glass I have 25% over the factory tint. dark enough but clear enough to see at night.

Yes, it's a little bewildering why they do it this way but I don't notice it when driving. I don't like the fact that it took them a day to do a half hour job.

Well I called about the window tint today to get a quote. Guy said I can do my driver and passenger side legal at only 50% by manitoba law! He is only charging me $120 which I thought was cheap. So gunna ask to go 35% or possible 40% and hope the cops leave me alone.

My first run was terrible as well because I wasn't making even passes or taking my time. It was also a pain to remove and redo (especially the badges) but definitely necessary and worth it. The second go went better. I applied about 6 coats per item, with about 4-6 passes at various angles per coat. I used just over 1 can for 5 badges, 1 emblem, and 4 center caps.

Thanks, and I think I agree with you on the center caps. I'll probably remove the plasti-dip from them this weekend.

I didn't notice any paint fade but I washed my truck last night got home and had a small amount of dust on the tailgate and I could sort of see where the emblems were before. Not a big deal probably over time they will be gone.

Ahh didn't realize you're in Canada. Well here in Nazi California we're not allowed to have tint at all on the driver & front passenger side windows. I've been driving with this tint for almost a year and not one issue or reaction from the cops. But then again I don't drive like a D-bag either ;)

I have these. If you have to run flaps, these are a huge aesthetic improvement over the massive stock ones. I'd still rather run flapless, but if I don't have them on the entire side of my truck gets sprayed with shit. Especially in winter.
