    It's tiny and ugly, so it's probably French...
    The grill almost reminds me of Panard (Parnard? Parnhard?) Dyna Z, but the rest of the front end is wrong. And the lines of the roof are wrong too. The roofline looks more like a Renault...

    Edit: Maybe a Dyna Z humped a Trabant and that's what popped out.

    I'm stumped.

    At first I was thinking it was a Peugeot 205 GTI but it didn't have the logo on the grille.

    Then I remembered a Jalopnik article with a car that looked similar. Well I looked up the article and sure enough.

    But because I cheated I won't give away the answer.
