The Baja kit is not designed or engineered for 33's, it's designed specifically for 32's and 2012 + Tacomas in either AC or DCSB. That's the only testing they did, and engineered specifically for those models and model years.

If you want the 35120 you'd probably have to finagle something with the dealer parts guy and get a VIN off of an existing Baja truck.

Pretty much the same, about 1.5-2" in front to level the truck and no lift in the rear. Both ends gain about 1-1.5" of travel with all of the rear travel being added droop due to the longer shaft in the remote res shocks. Pretty much identical to the Baja as far as height and travel, just different front springs and maybe some valving changes (not 100% on the valving change).

Bumping this thread. Has anyone swapped out their stock TRD (sport or OR) shocks/springs for the TRD Pro suspension kit?

Found PTR13-35120 for $1230 on a site which isn't terrible , but if your not into the rear res 5160 found front coil over shock for 315 which if you break it down is about 150 for each component , decent price ? No?

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
I have the Baja setup now and I absolutely love it. I have just confirmed I can get the pro I want so I will be getting the pro in may. I will be keeping my Baja suspension parts when I trade my current truck and I will do a direct comparison when I get it.

All in all I could not be happier with the 1500 buck is have in the Baja parts and I will see soon how I like the revjsed valving and softer spring rate in the front of the Pro. If its too soft for me ill throw my Baja front on.

After doing a lift I advised a friend of mine to order the hardware kit PTR13-35120-AD from the Baja suspension since it's only $30 shipped. I figured the brake line spacer would help to allow more slack in the rear brake lines under travel and also the new front bumps wouldn't hurt either since he's running Eibach's, Bilstein 5100's, and TSB rear leafs with Icon AAL.

Anyway, after ordering the kit from Camelback Toyota, it's short some parts and they're telling him it's not. The kit is missing the front bump stops completely, as well as the longer brake line clamp that bolts to the axle. According to TRD it's supposed to inlcude everything seen here, http://www.trdusa.com/parts-detail.html?p=PTR13-35120-AD

Can anyone else verify what is included when ordering just the hardware kit PTR13-35120-AD.

Yeah I absolutely LOVE my Baja suspension. To me it seems every bit as nice or at least VERY close to the KDSS suspension on the 4 Runner.

    Rocking for sure!

If it didn't come with those, what did it come with....a bolt and washer for $30?

Exactly. It came with the spacer block, bolt, lock washer, and two big zinc washers. That's it.

    No clamp, and no bumpstops.

I was advised by a dealer today that the TX Baja suspension has been discontinued for sometime unless a dealer has one sitting around. Plan to start getting quotes for the TRD pro suspension.

Are the TRD Pro rear shock bodies, hoses, and reservoirs the same as the Baja parts? I understand that there may be some minor valving differences, but I wonder if the new stuff will rust as quickly as the ones on my 2013 Baja did. The hose ends showed surface rust almost immediately, and it’s pretty bad now. The shock bodies and reservoirs are now turning brown. The dealer says that this is “normal”, and they will only replace them if the rust causes a failure. I’m looking for shock oil near the hose ends frequently.

TX suspension arrived today for my (cough, 2014) TX Baja. :taco: I haven't opened the box yet. Stock piling parts and then the suspension upgrades will begin. I will be searching for members who have upgraded to the TRD suspension and asking lots of install questions. Thanks Rich at Morristown Toyota!
