Finally found a setup that worked. Had to reroute the belt (originally needed to be a nonexistent 71", now 53.5") and modify the bracket so the pulley was adjustable for tension.

    [IMG]DSC00296 by wyo_taco45, on Flickr

Belt runs underneath the fan pulley now.

    Really nice truck, my friend.

I came across this and saw your mod costs listed in the OP, but the list is missing the cost of beer and burgers involved in seducing your friends to come over.

    ;)

I bet there was a lot of chop and burn in this one. I'm still working on mine. No drastic reconstruction, though. Just bolt-on shite.

    Good job, my man!

Was I talking to you??!!! You don't use bolts??? !!!

I was acknowledging and appreciating the fact that he has done some serious work here... and then you shit on me for no reason. Don't be a dick.

    PM'd you, my man!

    ---------------------------------

PS: Sorry, OP, but I have to redirect this BS to PM's with the above.

Replied. And I wasn't talking to you. I did make the mistake about not quoting Eric, but I didn't feel the need since his post was last.

But since you want to start a shit show, I can only assume that you're probably twelve-teen years old and think everything is about you and your world. I don't know you, nor do I care to know you. You're just like the majority of the other TW fuckwads that jerk off to things they can never accomplish on their own.

And with that...as I said in the PM. Blow me. :luvya:

Well, we settled the BS through PM's...

.... and discovered that both of us won't suck dicks, and we're both assholes.

The beer is on me, if you show up, and then we'll go swampin' out in my back 50.

    Life is good.

    ;)

    --------------------------------------

PS: Let's not derail his thread. It's a good build. Nice work, OP!

Gotta make a bracket for the PS cooler behind the grill and finish the obvious parts of the bumper. Relocating the winch solenoid to the engine bay and putting a light bar on top of the winch.

I modified the winch plate for a better contour, but the nice thing is that the Barnes mount is a dual pull so I placed it where it'll clear the rad and be used for a suck down winch, once Eric gets some synthetic line.
