Just got a zombie lights on off switch from air on board.com

It's for the only vacant switch spot in the middle console under the heat/AC. I'm not seeing a very easy way to get the wires from the new switch to the wires running from the lightbar to the current button switch that looks bad. I want a crisp clean cab look.

My question is what parts of the dash do i have to remove to run the wires through the back or is there a way I'm not noticing.

The big black wire in the photo is the wire I'm wanting to run properly and make look clean.

If you mean to the engine compartment I ran my lights from my bull bar thru at the bundle of wire next to steering wheel. I had to take my pocket knife and poke a small slit thru the rubber gourmet (sp). Then use a thin cable to fish it thru.

Ya i got it through the firewall from the engine to the cab. Got it wired to the high beams and the makeshift switch. Behind the center console where the heat and AC switches are doesn't seem to have any space behind it or hole for me to run the wire through. I'm guessing I can look harder but i just don't want to remove the center console to install the new oem push button so I can make the wiring look like it comes with the truck originally. I don't know if im explaining it as clear as i can or not I sometimes explain things pretty horribly lol

I popped out the switch blank from the front with a small eyeglass screwdriver, straightened out a coat hanger and routed it in from the front. There was room down and to the left towards the gas pedal. Shine a flashlight up from the floor towards the blank to make it easier. Once through, tape your wires to it and pull it back through. Was really easy.

remove ac climate control panel (pops off careful) and run up to left side and then down to coin holder.
Also does the onboardair one fit? Thought was for left side of steering wheel ...thanks

Wonder how the OP made out. BTW Air on Board sells the proper switch size for both the center area under the climate control and also the larger switch to the left of the steering wheel.

I just removed the blank and fished the wire through with a coat hanger never took any trim loose.

I used little round ones from Auto Zone and drilled out the blanks. I like them because they have a low profile. Downside is they are only lit when energized. They red ones are pretty bright but other colors are less so.
