You'll need just a normal shock. Ads or King or something.

Plus whatever you do to the rear. New leafs?? How are your current ones doing with the new rear bumper?

It seems to be holding up ok right now. Basically leveled...which I am not a fan off haha. I will probably want to new leafs. I was looking into the chevy swaps a bit and that seems like a decent route.

You mean swaping whole Chevy leafs or building a pack from chevy leafs?

Swapping with new hangers and such. I forget where I was reading on it...probably over on pirate. Luckily I have all summer so digest everything :p. I might throw in a AAL until I figure out the next step.

That's kinda a bitch. Because your frame dove tails in. So the rear hanger section is kinda a pain because you have build an full new one. Least Id think so since chevy leafs will be longer..and id think you can't reuse the inverted shackle hanger.

But not totally sure. 2nd gen so I'm not sure how chevy swap works with you.

Hmm, I'll look at it some more. Otherwise I would just get a stronger aftermarket pack.

Did you draw an elk tag?

Archery is my family's favorite hunting past time. Other then bird hunting.

Do you have to put in for elk tags in WY?

No, I don't believe the drawing is until June 20th or so I was told. I just worded that weird to where it sounded like it was for sure. Either way I have a few people letting me tag along on their hunts so I should be good to at least get out and learn even if I don't get to take the shot.

How slow is it with 4.88s I'm about to get my thirds done and want to make the jump to 35s. Don't know if 5.29 is overkill

Are you 2wd? They don't make 5.29 for the front diff otherwise. It feels good with 35's and 4.88's. It is just slightly overgeared so it is really close to how it felt stock.

Nah I'm 4wd. I've never noticed that.. I just saw they have me for the rear and assumed. Guess 4.88s it is. I'm running 4.10 on 255/85s and it's just so sluggish and weak feeling

Yeah, it will feel a lot better than 4.10's and 33's. I really enjoy how the truck feels right now. I wouldn't mind adding a URD SC some time in the very very verrrryyyy distant future haha.

Update: New toy showed up today. Going to sign up for the local archery club hopefully this sunday.

I am hoping to shoot almost every day at work! Hopefully tomorrow I can get the boss man to show me where the targets are and get me started. I may just borrow my roommates block this weekend to go shoot. He hasn't touched it since we moved in.

    I miss archery.

But yea. You need to shoot everyday to get good at it. Get a range finder too so you can block out 20,30,40,50,60 yard spots with stakes. Eventually you'll get so used to it you'll be able to judge distance without the finder. I was always within 2 yards when I was doing it a lot.

    It's a fun sport.

    Also..gets spendy...lol
