Considering some of the monkeys I had working as tire balancers when I worked at a shop, you're lucky you got weights at all.

But I agree. I told my guys that it didn't matter what kind of car it was, if it had aluminum wheels to use sticky weights, unless the wheels were already curb rashed or corroded to hell.
Then when I caught hell from my district manager about how many boxes of sticky weights the store was going through I'd just say that the customers were asking for them and I was doing my best to oblige them.

Although it was a pain sometimes, because I'd actually have customers come back and say that we had forgotten to balance their wheels because they couldn't see any weights, and we'd have to explain how static balancing works.

 

I hear you there. I got them at Town Fair Tire and most everybody knows what I think of that place. I have a customer that has an account with them and they ordered them for me for less than I could find them for and they included free mounting and free terrible balancing. LOL

There's an ARB for a 95-00 Tacoma on CL - RI right now for $350 with a winch and IPF lights. I wish I had the cash to go grab it. I'd take the winch and then resell the bumper and lights separate and basically break even. I've got enough going on this week though so unfortunately it's very low on the priority list.

Just a open invitation to anyone that wants to come out. We are going to be hanging out checking out everyone's trucks, talking about mods or anything else then if you want to we will be going and grabbing a bite to eat. We have done a few of these, they are fun and you get to know the people on the internet that you talk to. LOL
