It matches the tails better and is LED. I sanded off the chrome around the edge and did it black. Also cut the light side plugs off the oem and spliced them onto the new light so it plugs into harness like it did before. Did the same thing on both the 08 RC and 05 AC, just wasn't done yet in pic of 08.

I have the "Smoke" version of these and love them. Did the 886 reverse light mod because even though its a very light smoke on the lights, it still messed with the reverse light output. Love the lights though and they're extremely bright.[IMG]

No mods, but LEDS all over.
Is it really that dark? I was expecting a more lighter smoke.

They aren't 100% as dark as they look in the picture. But they are pretty dark.

I put the DEPO's on my truck. I like 'em.

... and I have a smoked 3rd brake light that I have to do the following to:
I also need to rebadge the tailgate. This is the new one that replaces my stolen one! (Notice the Pop & Lock this time around.)

I've never seen side hickies sticking out of aftermarket Tacoma tail lights before.

    They look .... I can't say.

Here's an updated pic of mine:

Love the way that looks with the rr bumper protector / tail light guard combo with the gray/black colors, looks really good.
