    Thanks man, happening tonight at 4 so I'll let you know how it goes. The tech made it sound like splicing in the backup cam was easy, just using an RCA cord... but I think he'll run into power problems. Anything I can tell him from you really quick that will help?

    I'll post pics once my NEX7100 is installed tonight.

    I cut the end if an RCA cable, soldered on some dsub pins, and ran them into the stick plug for the camera. You won't have any issues with power because the camera is already powered, you just need to tap the feed

    Thanks. There's a few pucker factor moments going downhill to Bouquet Canyon Road towards that reservoir and one "Oh shit!" moment. But it was fun!
