NW WA Meet / BS Thread

Called Jerry yesterday and he said they all shipped the first week of the month. He sent me a tracking # and it said delivered to a lock box on the 12th! Only problem is, I don't have a lock box. The mail carrier says they can't remember any packages delivered that long ago and my local post office doesn't give a shit, priority mail only covers $50 after investigated, told me sorry, your SOL.

So after three months waiting, I'm out $180 and my truck is still apart.

 

Damn Mike, that is some bullshit. The post office really just said you're shit outta luck? It's clearly their fault, correct?

 

I'd go back and talk to someone else...there has to be some type of paper trail, that's horseshit.

 

Goatshit. In all seriousness id make the company that shipped do the work, thats what we do when we sell something and a customer doesnt recieve it

 

Ok, Couple o questions... did you have it shipped to a PO Box, or your house mailing address? Irregardless, i would call the shipper back, and tell him it's on him to get it to you since you paid for shipping. You don't have it in your hands, and that is unacceptable, ergo, it has not yet been delivered.

 

I left a complaint with the post master via phone message. I live in a very small community and there's only two postal workers in the office. It shipped USPS and was supposed to be coming to my home address, I don't have a PO box. I left a phone message this afternoon with Jerry also.

 

Any idea on what time? Or how long?

 

Me and DavidPick are meeting at the Arlington safeway off hwy 9 at 10am tomorrow, going to try and get to the top of fs 24. JDAM may come as well but haven't for sure or not. If you come we can meet in darrington around 10:45 ish so you don't have to come down and then go back. And just a day trip, probably a few hours

 

I think I will have to sit this one out. Definitely let me know next time your in the area and hopefully I can make some time.

Guess ill note that im meeting at 9:00am @ the circle k in Naches on Hwy12 if anyone on this side of the mountains wants to go for a day trip, probably til sunset or so.
Ill probably try to be a little more active on the board to catch a big trip later this summer, meanwhile hoping i dont catch a case of the 'i need to dump my savings into my truck fever' that this site causes me.

I went through it last Thanksgiving. To many deals! Now i have full armor, winch, lightbar, all sorts of stuff lol.

House forums are just as bad. I browsed one for awhile and it was almost worse than TW. Can spend a lot of money fast. Same with the garagejounral forum. Man you can blow through money fast!
