I am going to thrown down some paper on this lift.... tell me the pros and cons about it... the biggest PRO for me is cost... I don't have $1000+ to go with the Toytec Ultimate or OME kit... so this is it for me.

My truck's use... driving around town and to the hunt club where the roads are graded... nothing extreme or even mildly extreme.

I plan on a 18x9 285 or 275/70 setup as for rims and tires.

I'm a noob but my research here tells me people frown upon spacer lifts.

grab some bilstein 5100's for all 4 corner. Set the fronts at 1.75in with the stock coils on your truck and throw in a 1.5 or 2in AAL in the rear. total cost will be around 450 bucks and it will be a nice mild decent lift.

Something like this + and and might throw in one of these to correct some inherent lean 415 + shipping out the door, for a quality 2in lift that will ride nice and not break the bank nor the truck.

2 in spacer lift front 2, in AAL rear [tundra leaf] , flip up tow mirrors, ARE shell electric brake controller and cooper ATP 265/r70x16 tires on stock TRD wheels
I just installed a 2in. spacer lift on the front and the 3rd leaf from a tundra on my 2013 DC SB TRD off road. Raised the back just over 2" and the front up about 2 1/2 . Truck sits level, rides like a dream and the alignment shop was able to adjust every thing to specs. total cost $50 for parts and $80 for the alignment. couldn't be more pleased.

yeah.... just dont go over a speed bump too quick or drop off that curb at the mall too hard.... gonna bottom the shock out before you hit bumpstop and bend the shock itself!

but what year of tundra did you get the leaf from?

    Been there, dun that.

    Pros - cheap

Cons - cheap / lousy ride / poor handling

I'd say save your money and go for an entry level set of Bilstein 5100 shocks. You'll be much happier. Don't ruin a nice truck.

I was B.S.'ing with the Toyota accessory guys two days ago while getting new tires. They specifically said to stay away from spacers on lift kits.

I am totally lost when you guys mention 5100s? I know their Bilsteins, but by just adding the 5100 I can achieve a 3" lift? Nothing else will be changed? If I can just add 4 shocks and get 3" of lift then of course I understand its a no brainer. I am a total noob when it comes to this stuff... so pics and links of what i need to order are helpful.

I bought it! Thankfully they Toytec sells there... now I am getting what I really wanted and not settling! Pics to come!!!
