    where if fv, i bought mine at the one off the 605 fwy and peck road, 5 minutes from my house. They are next to the weather radios and computer stuff on the left side of the building when you walk in. They have or had about 10-15 diff models.

    Holy crap that one is much smaller than the one I have from way back when. I'd rather pay 28 and get a more condensed model. NICE.

    Hell I should just bite the bullet and buy a complete radio with airbands for when I go and study (watch airplanes) at airports. Do the whole enchilada with PA too.

    yah I come from SD. It’s a lot of fun, and the people are knowledgeable and cool. It’s totally worth it especially if you have some project you need help with. And its nice putting names with faces. It is quite a drive, but a lot of fun. We should figure out a SoCal mod somewhere in Orange County some day so everyone would be roughly equidistant. I'd host here in SD, but the few of you who have been to my house know it’s not really great on parking or space to get stuff done!

    I went to frys in SD and didnt see that large of a selection for the CBs themselves, but a lot of stuff for antennas. I ended up buying mine off of Amazon.com and got a killer deal

    For the gear selector light, i don't have a really good design for it. So i wont be changing gear selector light. As for the a/c control panel lights, i don't think its possible to change the color of it.
