    Not surprised. Had a friend call me because a shop was claiming she needed a 500 dollar repair, which dropped to 250 when she called another shop who gave her an estimate.. which dropped too "you were just low on coolant" after I told her to ask the tech to return the old part back to her after he replaced it.

    ^^^ I have a friend with an 01 Subaru Legacy 4 banger motor. She was throwing a code and I told her go to Auto zone and have them read the code. Turns out she had a bad knock sensor. I look it up online seems easy to replace. She buys part and I tell her I'll swap it out. Work got busy and things happen and I call the Subaru dealership to ask what they would charge to replace it without cost of part since she already had it. He says $200 in labor as the part is hard to reach and they have to remove some stuff. I told him that's bullshit as I can see the damn sensor when I open the hood. So I go to her work on my lunch and in 10 minutes I replaced her knock sensor. I serious WTF!!!

    So to anyone in Oregon, I give a big ole F U C K YOU to CARR Subaru.
