Well had a productively slow morning. The pelfy front bumper, winch, led light bar, and rigid duallys (in fog spot) are installed. Well the bumper is 90% done..just have to finish install the brace pieces and remove the sway bar!

No pics yet but probably later tonight. Want to get the wiring done while i have the headlights and grill out.

O and got to test my pulley setup for the rtt. Worked decently. Only used two of the 4 pulleys and it held the bumper with all the extras. BUT i need ot figure something out for the winch portion of it. It was a bit sketchy to say the least. Plus I need to figure out how i want to do a "backup" so all the weight isnt on the winch all the time. Basically have something to hold the weight and have the winch be more of a back up and just for raising and lowering.

But anyways break time! Then to the hardware store to buy some 2 gauge wire and crimps for to relocate the winch solenoid.

Nice work Nick, sounds like you got a lot done!
I'll keep an eye out for your truck, I'm always trying to spot other TC guys around here but there seems to be a Tacoma on the road about every 10'. They are popular trucks on this side!

Those look good, especially with those wheels! I got a 5th matching wheel of the ones you gave me. I need to tear down my spare and steal the tpms from it for the new spare.

You probably wont see it to much! Well except on the weekends. During the week the commuter car gets most of the miles. I mean its a 2011 (bought at in dec 11) and only has 18k miles on it lol. ~6k of those being from driving it to San Diego and back twice.

Still so much more to do though! Full Pelfy skids to install, seat covers, new sub, then wiring everything up which i am not looking forward to!

O yeah then theres replacing my current icons for reservoir version (have at home) and then mounting my 285/75/16's and all that comes with that.

o damn it plus theres the CB to install.

Plus one of these days i want ot start up a build thread to keep track of everything lol

Been a while since I have said much on here but I have been lurking for a while. I could probably be done to do some exploring up around Darrington tomorrow if you guys are still going and don't mind an extra tag along

    As promised pics!

You dont have to remove the headlights but i have new ones so why not do it now to make it easier.

And the bumper installed. And yes it did get scratched but o well its a bumper. Happened in the 3 months it sat in my bed sliding around a bit. Better pics will come once im done with everything
    [IMG]

Also got the IFS and mid skid installed. Will tackle the trans and gas tank skits tomorrow. Plus hooking up the fogs (think i can splice the factory wiring for these) and working on the solenoid relocation. If i can get those done I'll be rather happy

Well at least some guys are getting things done. I was going to start the day by checking out the dragon boat events downtown and then get the winch and skids back on, but ended up with a monster headache and an upset stomach for most of the day. :(
My great accomplishment was trimming down the j hooks for the battery tiedown

Nice. I continued trying to get my crank bolt off of my 86 pickup to no avail.

    Have tried:
    Heat
    PB Blaster
    Hitting with hammer
    Knocking off frame w/ starter
    4' Breaker bar
Uh... I forget what else. It won't budge.

I have also accepted defeat and will re-assemble and take it to a shop.

I have officially done nothing to my truck this weekend. However, I am starting to organize the garage so I can park in there.

I've got house things to do for a while, so I'll be busy doing that versus the truck. Minus the tires. Those will go on next week.

Try looking for some stuff called freeze off. We've been having really good luck with it.
It might be time to buy an impact wrench as well.

My only complaint so far is everything is to...bright. to much white. I just feel like the posts aren't as defined and just sort of blend together. Maybe a dark theme would help. I'll get used to it but that's my one complaint so far so pretty minor!

O and why is it no where carries 2 gauge terminals by me! Couldn't find any anywhere. Had to order some online :( I think my mail lady hates me since I e been getting packages everyday lol
