    I think it was TacoDell who turned me on to that years ago. Such a noticeable difference in the sweep. Like you, I should have done it years prior.

    You clearly miss the point, its not the color of the bulb thats the issue, its the scatter of the light in an improper housing.. but yes the 4k-6k is the brightest of the colors avail going dimmer as they go higher in number becoming blue to purple.

    Learn how they work before you run them and honestly you lost direct light output where it matters in favor of brighter scattered beam all over the damn place. Good Job.

    No, in the proper housing you're correct they are not. However a halogen housing is designed to have the light thrown primarily to the top of the reflector so that it projects downward onto the road. But an HID light projects light in 360 degrees all the time, thus you end up with the effect of light hitting the bottom reflector and simulating the effect of having your brights on all the time.

    So please, for the love of people driving at night, throw some Silverstars in there.
