    bilstein set at 1.75, Racho 5000 rear with 4 leaf kit, floor mats, high lift jack, pull hook in hitch, bed rail corner braces, severe duty brake pads and devil horns on the grill....
    That would be a mid-60 Saab, and I am betting it is the 3 cylinder, 2 stroke in the 850 size...so most likely a Saab 96

    2-stroke...
    The carb used to shut the fuel off for greater economy when you were coasting, so if you had an automatic on a long downhill stretch you had the choice of riding the gas to keep the engine lubricated (which meant red hot brakes at the bottom of the hill) or saving your brakes and risk ruining the motor from lack of lubrication, haha!

    Had a picture of one on my wall as a kid, next to an old RX, until my dad explained to me that just because it had a rotary that you could rev the nuts off of didn't necessarily mean that it was fast. After that it just didn't seem quite as cool...
